CAP-ACP Launches Online CPD Subspecialty Courses
May 01 2010

The Canadian Association of Pathologists Continuing Professional Development Committee has launched a new initiative to provide a greater range of educational content online.

Building on the experience with the popular "Case of the Month" series, CAP-ACP Continuing Professional Development resources now include short courses on subspecialty pathology. They present a variety of commonly encountered, as well as diagnostically challenging cases, and also have an evaluative component in the form of questions. The virtual slides will be hosted by Objective Pathology, the Canadian partner that also hosts the "Case of the Month". These courses are free for CAP-ACP members, but require an enrolment key, which is available in the Members Only area of the CAP-ACP website.

The first courses are on Breast Pathology and Genitourinary Pathology. Please check back regularly as new material on various other subspecialty areas will be added on an ongoing basis.

We hope that you will find the material useful and engaging. Any feedback you may wish to provide will be greatly appreciated, and we encourage you to use the CAP-ACP online member forums for this purpose.
